What content creators and brands need to know before working together.

What is UGC, and do I need followers?

UGC means user-generated content. In a paid UGC job, a creator makes videos or photos for a brand to use on agreed channels. Content-only jobs pay for your production skills; they do not require you to post to your own audience. Influencer campaigns that include posting will set their own audience requirements.

What do brands hire UGC creators to make?

Product demonstrations, unboxings, app walkthroughs, tutorials, lifestyle photos and short videos for TikTok or Instagram Reels. A brief should specify the format, length, number of files and whether editing or captions are included.

What should I agree before accepting a job?

Check the fee, deliverables, revision allowance and usage licence before applying. Agree payment timing directly with the brand. Paid advertising, creator posting and exclusivity should always be agreed explicitly. Sign in to see fees for individual briefs.

Where will Creator Club launch?

New Zealand comes first. Each brief will specify where creators need to be based and whether filming is remote or on location. We intend to add other markets as the platform develops.

Can my business hire creators through the platform?

Yes. Create a brand account to publish briefs, review applications and manage files and feedback. Visit the brand page to get started.
